Our 36-oz Dead Blow hammer is designed with steel shot inside head, which delivers a stronger force and at the same time prevents any rebound, as the name implies. Entire outside of hammer is built  with high-impact  poly jacket that completely encases the head and handle. This jacket gives a positive strike while preventing marring of softer metals like aluminum. The handle is finished with a comfortable diamond tread pattern for a non-slip grip.
